About

Peter A. Murray (PhD) is an Associate Professor in Business at the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. His areas of research include organisational learning in relation to workplace reform with a secondary interest in examining gendered differences through inequality regimes. He has recently edited a major book on Women at Work within the Asia Pacific Region and has received many best paper and highly commended awards for research.  Professor Murray’s work has been published in high quality journals including Human Resource Management Journal, Management Learning, Asia Pacific Journal of Human Resources, and Supply Chain Management. He is also a dedicated teacher and consultant to industry in areas related to workplace change and executive training. Dr Murray continues to work with industry on changing work processes in ways that improve organisational performance and his work in organisational learning is focused on improving structures and systems that align individual skills to business goals. He is a regular reviewer for many leading journals including International Journal of Management Reviews, European Journal of Marketing and Journal of Industrial Relations.
